The market information in this report is collected through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Quality Systems Assessment’s Livestock Auction Market Reporting program under the supervision and oversight of USDA Livestock and Grain Market News.

Compared to last week’s sale, slaughter cows sold steady to weak. Cattle supply included 16 steers and heifers, 74 slaughter cows, two bulls and 12 feeder cattle.

Select 2-3, 1,410 pounds, $94

Slaughter Holstein Steers:

Select 2-3, 1,430 pounds, $78.50

Slaughter Cows:

Breakers, 75-80 percent lean, average dressing, $53-55.50; high dressing, $56.

Boners, 80 to 85 percent lean, average dressing, $48-53; high dressing, $53.50-56.

Lean, 85 to 90 percent lean, average dressing, $45-50; high dressing, $51-52; low dressing, $40-44.50

Slaughter Bulls:

Yield Grade 1, 1,536 pounds, $80

Low Dress, 1,688 pounds, $69

Feeder Cattle:

Holstein Steers:

Heifers:
