3 face charges in Tioga court
MANSFIELD — Three people either have appeared or will appear before District Judge James Carlson to face various charges. They are:
• Yaamir M. Tillery, 21, of Philadelphia, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of paraphernalia following a traffic stop for speeding by Blossburg police on Route 15, Feb. 22. Police said he had 13 plastic vials containing marijuana, a small sandwich bag containing marijuana and smoking devices. He was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail and his preliminary hearing set for March 8.
• Julie A. White, 59, of 5279 Orebed Road, Mansfield, faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop by Blossburg police on North Williamson Road, on Feb. 10. She was issued a summons to appear at a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing.
• Robert G. Hazel, 38, of 25 W. Wellsboro St., Mansfield, faces charges of possession of an instrument of crime and possession of drug paraphernalia after Mansfield police were dispatched to the residence Feb. 7 for a possible drug overdose. Police said they found a hypodermic syringe in a parked vehicle and Hazel lying on the ground next to it. He was issued a summons to appear at a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
