Tioga GOP picnic to feature state judge, governor hopefuls, others

WELLSBORO — Supreme Court Justice Sallie Mundy, a Tioga County native whose seat is up for election in November, is the featured guest at an Aug. 5 picnic at Woodland Park of the Tioga County Republican Committee and the Republican Women.

Several other Republican candidates are expected, including state Sen. Scott Wagner and businessman Paul Mango, who are seeking the nomination for governor in 2018.

Also on hand will be state Reps. Rick Saccone and Jim Christiana and businessman Bobby Lawrence, and a representative of Jeff Bartos, who are looking for the opportunity to face off against Sen. Bob Casey next year.

Local GOP candidates include Frank Levindoski for sheriff, Prothonotary Marie Seymour and state Rep. Matt Baker.
