April 18 – Good Friday crosswalk, 6:30 a.m., all will gather at the entrance to the trail behind McElhattan United Methodist Church. Good Friday service at Phelps Chapel UMC, 7 p.m., the message will be “Facing Death” by Pastor Roger Yoder.

April 20 – Sunrise service at Avis UMC, 6:30 a.m., gather in front of the church. A fire ring will be lit as all contemplate the empty tomb. Everyone will follow the cross of Christ into the sanctuary for the remainder of the service. There will be special music by the choir. After the service a light breakfast will be served. The 10:15 a.m. service will feature selections by the choir.
