Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, the Rev. Robert Wallace, pastor of Heshbon Park United Methodist Church in Loyalsock Township, and an author, will talk about “Christmas Stories For the Whole Family.” Luncheons include the serving of a catered $6 lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available until 1:30 p.m. in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how to prepare.
