Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Sandy Nelson, a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Quiggleville, will share about her trips to Liberia in a message titled “Mission in Liberia.” Luncheons include the serving of a catered $6 lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available until 1:30 p.m. in the lots north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 570-322-1110 to help the caterer know how to prepare.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 570-322-5762. The devotions this week will be provided by Pastor Derek Smith, of New Life Wake Up Ministry Inc. in Williamsport.
