Christian Ladies Group to meet

HUGHESVILLE — The Christian Ladies Group will meet at Tivoli United Methodist Church, 9598 Route 220, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The program will be provided by Meg Geffken as she portrays conservationist and children’s author Beatrix Potter.

Christian college fair in Milton

The Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., will hold a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 7.

Fall festival in Balls Mills

October Reformation

Potluck Series to begin

The St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, will hold its Reformation Potluck Series from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. from Oct. 7 to 28. The series is presented by Auron Aukema. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share. The Oct. 14 session will be held in the school gym.

Krislund to celebrate fall festival

MADISONBURG — Krislund Camp and Conference Center, 189 Krislund Drive, will hold a fall festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 7. Attendees will be given a ticket for one free ride on either the zip line or the giant swing.

Chicken and biscuit dinner

JERSEY SHORE — The Oriole United Methodist Church, 39 Main road, will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 7. The cost for adults is $6:50, children is $4 and for children under age 4 it is free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Farragut to host pumpkin festival

Farragut Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 61 Route 864, Montoursville, is hosting a Pumpkin Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 7 with food ranging from hot sandwiches to pumpkin desserts and ice cream.

Local church to host cellist for concert

Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist church, 1301 Clayton Ave., will host cellist Zachary Sweet, of Ithaca, New York, for a free community concert at 2 p.m. Oct. 8.
