911 fees to be certified
Lycoming County commissioners are expected Thursday at their meeting to certify funds designated for 911 operations.
The money comes from charges on wireline and wireless monthly phone bills and retail sales of pre-paid cellphones.
Commissioners must certify that funding coming into the county will be used only for 911 operations and upgrades.
Commissioners also are expected to approve a $24,900 treatment court enhancement grant to the West Branch Drug and Alcohol Commission for administrative services.
