Commissioners OK payment for software licenses
Lycoming County commissioners approved payment of $11,410 Thursday for additional computer software licenses for records management and document scanning needs at the county courthouse.
Samuel Harrison, county information technology department director, said additional licenses are needed to allow more employees to use the service.
Commissioners also approved a rental agreement with Best Line Equipment for a hydraulic excavator to be used for work needed at a communications tower site.
Several salary board actions were taken, including changing a new full-time deputy coroner’s pay rate to $17.88 an hour. Julianna E. Currinder initially was hired last week at an annual salary of $35,000.
In addition, Sara B. Johns, full-time probation officer, was reclassified to $21.29 an hour, while William R. Moore Jr. was hired as a replacement equipment operator at an hourly rate of $15.86.
