1 sheriff candidate self-funds campaign
In the race for Lycoming County sheriff, incumbent candidate Mark Lusk received more campaign contributions than his opponent, Hugh E. McGee.
Lusk received $750. McGee had none, according to campaign finance reports filed at the Lycoming County Voter Services office.
Contributions for Mark Lusk, 55, of Williamsport, included $200 from Girio Properties Co.; $200 from Laurence E. Klees and Tetsuko Klees; $100 from the Lycoming County Republican Committee. The candidate also contributed $250 of his own money toward his campaign, according to the report.
Hugh E. McGee, 60, of Linden, used $293 of his own money toward his campaign but received no other contributions, according to his campaign finance report.
