Parts of city library to close early on Sunday

The James V. Brown Library will close the Rotunda Room, Pennsylvania Room, Winters Room and microfilm collections at 2 p.m. Sunday to prepare for the Benjamin Franklin Society reception that evening.

The front doors at the 19 E. Fourth St. entrance will be locked at 2 p.m. Patrons may enter via the State Street entrance or through the Welch Family Wing.

The front entrance will re-open at 9 a.m. Monday, library officials said.

The library also will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
