State Long-Term Care Commission seeks input

As part of Gov. Tom Corbett’s Healthy PA initiative, a Long-Term Care Commission public meeting is scheduled for Williamsport.

The commission, created by an executive order issued by Corbett, is seeking input on developing recommendations for long-term care for elderly Pennsylvanians and those with disabilities.

The public discussion will focus on prevention and caregiver support; accessibility; provision of service; and quality outcomes and measurement.

The meeting is free and open to the public. For those wishing to provide verbal comment at the meeting, registration two business days prior is required. Those wishing to register can visit, then “Click Here to Register for the LTCC Public Hearings.”

Registration is not required for those attending to listen or for those submitting their comments in writing.
