Crash in Farmington Township claims life of 25-year-old
MANSFIELD — A 25-year-old motorist was killed in a one-car crash on Gee Road, just east of Bache Road, in Farmington Township about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, according to state police.
Jesse L. Satterlee, of Lawrenceville, lost control of his Toyota Corolla as he was heading west on Gee Road, Trooper Katherine E. Pettis said. The car traveled across the eastbound lane and went airborne, striking a culvert and landing in Elkhorn Creek, she said.
Initially taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro, Satterlee was transferred to Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, where he died Friday morning.
Nathan S. Austin, 33, of Wellsboro, was a passenger in the vehicle, but Pettis gave no indication in her report if he suffered any injuries.
