Public gets chance to question bridge project
A bridge spanning Black Hole Creek in Clinton Township is being replaced and the company handling the project invites the public to join them with questions.
In the Clinton Township building at 2110 Route 54, Montgomery, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13, representatives from Planery Walsh Keystone Partners will be available to discuss the bridge project and answer questions.
A schedule of the construction and traffic changes planned during the project will be available to the public at the open house.
There will be no formal presentation, but construction plans will be on display for reference.
This bridge is one of 558 being replaced as part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
The project is a public-private partnership between the state Department of Transportation and Planery Walsh Keystone Partners.
The partners will finance, design, replace and maintain the bridges for 25 years.
A letter announcing the start of construction will be mailed out two weeks in advance to all project stakeholders.
Anyone interested will be given the opportunity to sign-up as a project stakeholder the night of the open house.
