2 fatal wrecks in Bradford County

Two fatal wrecks occured on Wednesday in Bradford County and were released by the Bradford County coroner, Thomas M. Carman.

David L. Estelle Jr., 48, of Rome, was ejected from his 2001 Indian Motorcyle on Route 187, Orwell Township, Bradford County, at 8:47 p.m. after colliding with Tyler Freeman, 19, of Rome, who crossed the centerline to pass another vehicle.

Freeman, operating a 2003 Ford Pickup traveling southbound on Route 187, crossed the centerline to pass a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Ashley Marie Slayter, 25 from Nichols, New York.

Freeman struck Estelle’s motorcycle head on and ejected him and his wife, Billie Jo Estelle from the motorcyle.

David Estelle was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:05 p.m. and Billie Jo Estelle was flown to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre where she is in critical condition. Freeman was trasported to Robert Packer Hospital and was treated and released.

In a separate incident, Vincent Neville, 58, of Warren Township, was found by responding officers after suffering traumatic head injuries and blunt force chest trauma that resulted in his death at 7:44 p.m.

Neville was operating an International Tractor pulling a baler when he dismounted the tractor. Upon attempting to return to the vehicle, Neville was ran over by the rear wheel. Routine toxicology studies are being performed. Neville leaves behind a wife and children.
