Council to discuss stormwater, levee renovation issues
The city stormwater management transfer to Williamsport Sanitary Authority remains on the table for City Council and may be taken off Thursday for a vote.
For several weeks, council has tabled the resolution to allow for a legal review.
Tonight, the possibility exists for council to remove the resolution and others related to it from the table.
Mayor Gabriel J. Campana said a resolution he wanted didn’t receive a recommendation from either council public works or finance committees.
Another related issue with the levee is a resolution to approve work with Amec Foster Wheeler, of Pittsburgh, for coordination with the city to prepare for relief well replacement and rehabilitation.
