Montgomery man dies in car crash
LOCK HAVEN — A Montgomery man was pronounced dead in a Clinton County crash Monday afternoon.
Nathan Crist, 31, of Montgomery, was driving northbound on Route 220 between Mill Hall and Lock Haven at 1:13 p.m. when he lost control of his car, according to state police.
Crist’s car crossed between lanes, hit a guard rail, rolled over and caught fire. The car was “engulfed in flames,” police said.
Crist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County coroner.
According to the state police report, the crash was the result of driving at an unsafe speed around the curve.
