Local family connected to hockey gold medalist
Williamsport has been touched by gold following a historic win Wednesday of the U.S. women’s hockey team at the Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Megan Keller, whose grandmother lives in the city, is a member of the team that defeated Canada to capture the gold medal. Her father is the son of Mary Ann Keller and the late James Keller of Lincoln Avenue, according to a family friend Elaine Miller of State College.
