Snow covers the fields in Clarkstown on Monday morning. Sunday’s storm blanketed Williamsport and surrounding areas with about 2.4 inches of snow, with higher totals in the more northern areas. The snow won’t have a chance to melt before the area is expected to be hit with another 6 to 8 inches of the white stuff tonight through Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
