No plans to change student calendar for snow days

Williamsport Area School District graduates who attend the Pennsylvania State University to study music, computer science or physics will be able to apply for scholarships through the monies transferred from the Turner Foundation to the Williamsport Area School District Education Foundation.

The district’s board announced Tuesday night the transfer of $45,000 from the Turner Foundation, which was established in 1987 by Sylvia C. Turner.
