Man charged for alleged molesting boy he met through mentor program

After the two were matched up through a Big Brother Big Sister program, a Loyalsock Township man repeatedly molested a teenage boy during the first six months of last year, state police alleged.

Logan Lewis, 30, of 1763 Randall Circle, was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with a total of 13 felony or misdemeanor counts, including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, obscene sexual material, indecent assault and related offenses.

Police allege Lewis engaged in several inappropriate sexual acts with the teen in the township.

Investigators also allege Lewis showed pornographic videos to the teen. Geisinger’s Child Advocacy Center in Sunbury assisted with the investigation.

Following his arraignment before District Gary Whiteman, Lewis was committed to the Lycoming Couny Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
