Blanche C. Wash

Blanche C. Wash, 85, formerly of Round Top Road, Williamsport, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at ManorCare Center North.

Born Aug. 26, 1927, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Catherine M. (Armes) Colley. Blanche was a 1945 graduate of Williamsport High School.

Blanche was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and sewing, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by her children, Bill Wash of Pittston Township, Tom Wash of St. Paul, Minn., Deb Wash of Frazier Park, Calif., and David Wash of North Bend, Ore.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl W. Colley; and a sister, Dorothy M. Trimble.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry G. Wash on March 18, 2012, and her siblings, Gladys A. Kime, Lucille M. Rolley, Martha J. Rolley, Paul L. Colley, Kenneth Colley, Donald Colley and Richard Colley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 711 Edwin St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
