Norman E. Fry
Norman E. Fry, 84, of Pennsdale, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at his home.
Born Feb. 4, 1928, in Montoursville, he was a son of the late Harold P. and Jenny Schultz Fry.
Norm owned and operated Fry’s Auction, Pennsdale, and truly loved being an auctioneer. He was self employed for over 60 years, and enjoyed collecting and refinishing antiques, farming, hunting and gardening.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 64 years, Annabelle B. Snyder Fry, are three sons, Ralph R. Fry, George W. Fry and Alan E. Fry, all of Pennsdale; two sisters, Dora Koch of Muncy and Diane Hiller of Montoursville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Norm was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Lamper; a brother, Floyd Fry; and two sisters, Shirley Gray and Dolly Andres.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Rev. Rob Ransom officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
