Scott Corey Fultz
Scott Corey Fultz, 32, Mifflinburg, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 22, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Feb. 2, 1981, in Lewisburg, a son of Scott E. Fultz of Danville and Teresa (Coreau) Rhodes of Milton.
Scott was a 2000 graduate of West Snyder High school.
After school he joined the Marines where he served from 2001-2011 and served two tours of duty in Iraq.
He attended Hillside Bible Church in Mifflinburg.
Scott enjoyed hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing.
Surviving in addition to his parents are one son, Demetrios Fultz of North Carolina; his fiancee, Brenda Clark of Mifflinburg; two sisters, Brittany Thompson of Williamsport and Brandy Swanger of Mifflinburg; two brothers, Ben Fultz Troxelville and Michael McCreery of Ohio; and his maternal grandmother, Josephine Coreau of Beavertown.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald Sr. and Adelaide Fultz, and his maternal grandfather, Arthur “Jack” Coreau.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
