H. Patricia Holt
H. Patricia “Pat” Holt, 84, of Williamsport, passed away March 14, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born June 8, 1928, in York, she was a daughter to the late Lloyd and Evelyn (Sipe) Aldinger.
Pat spent her childhood years in York and was a waitress at her family’s famous Bury’s Burger Restaurant.
She moved to Williamsport in the early ’50s where she met the love of her life, Lawrence L. “Bud” Holt. They celebrated their 56th anniversary Jan. 12, 2013.
Pat worked at Sylvania in Montoursville and later at Sunset Fabric, a job she loved and where she made many lifelong friends.
Pat enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, crafts and entertaining her many friends.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Alliance Church and supported missionaries around the world.
In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by daughters, Tricia (Gary) Williamson, of Williamsport, Peggy (Jim) Beck, of South Williamsport, and Nancy (David) Chapman, of Williamsport; eight grandchildren, Gary, Randy (Kim), Matthew (Michele) Williamson, Carrie Beck James, Jimmy (Kris) Beck, Alyson (Jason) Dauber, Adam Chapman, and Audra Chapman, all of Williamsport; 12 great-grandchildren; Ethan, Caleb, Maxton, Maslin, Hailey, Kylie, Braden, Brenna, Chase, Waylon, Maverick and Jake; and sisters, Nancy Blackman of Michigan and Stephanie Simon of New Jersey.
She was predeceased by a brother, Quenton Aldinger and a sister, Vyvyan Schwartz.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at Faith Alliance Church, 2405 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made in Pat’s memory to Autism Group – Connecting the Pieces, P.O. Box 5103, South Williamsport, PA 17702, or the Oak Grove Alliance Church mission fund, 1681 Fox Hollow Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
