Harry C. ‘Punk’ Grimes
Harry C. “Punk” Grimes, 79, of Williamsport, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Williamsport Home.
Born March 3, 1934, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Elmer and Clara Ann Schultz Grimes.
Harry worked as a farmer, and also was a caretaker at Montoursville Cemetery. He enjoyed horses, hunting and traveling to farmer’s markets.
He is survived by his children, William R. (Emily) Webster of Raleigh, N.C., and Michelle A. (Joseph) Steinbacher of Williamsport; a sister, Sylvia Miller of Montoursville; grandchildren, Justin Englert, Shannon Lukowsky, Anna Webster; and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Alivia Lukowsky.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta O. (Bovee) Grimes in 2003.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Robin L. Baer, officiating.
Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
