Forrest Lee Eoute, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Newberry, Pa., he was the son of the late Ferd and Jennie Confer Eoute and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in East Flat Rock, N.C. Mr. Eoute was a board member of Bill Rice Ranch, a member of Gideon’s International, and retired from Stroehmann’s Bakery after over 40 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Gertrude “Betty” Van Ronk Eoute; three children, Blanche Frasier (Jim) of Greenville, David Eoute (Gloria) of Greenville and Sarah Vernacchio (John) of Rockvale, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Amanda Goranson, Annette Alexander, Hannah Jenkins, Amy Frasier, David Eoute, Jr., Jonathan Eoute, Philip Eoute, Rachelle Vernacchio, Tanasee Vernacchio and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Eoute was predeceased by a son, Forrest Lynn Eoute, and two brothers, John and Norman Eoute.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with visitation prior from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Burial will be on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Bill Rice Ranch in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
