Marian C. Hepburn Patton

Marian C. Hepburn Patton, 67, of Williamsport, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6, 2013.

Born May 27, 1945, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Ransom C. and Marian Catherine Fox Hepburn.

Marian was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School. She retired from ShopVac after 12 years of service due to an injury. Marian was a member of Lycoming Christian Church. She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and spending time with her cat, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Eleanor Hepburn, Ellen Mitcheltree, Mabel Manning, Lois Jane Hafer, Penny Tubbs, Carol Moon and Pauline Hepburn. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ransom Hepburn and Carl Hepburn, and by a nephew (brother), Leon Mitcheltree.

She is survived by a son, Christopher James (Nicole M.) Hepburn of Selinsgrove; a grandson, Joshua Bryan; four sisters, Rachel Tilburg of Montoursville, Barbara (Joseph) Sanzo of Big Flats, N.Y., Blanche Digan of Williamsport and Gloria C. (Bill) Caputo of Williamsport; a niece (sister), Nancy Westover; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dearest and best friend who was like a sister, Sara (James) Henry. Marian was like a second mom to many of Christopher’s friends and loved them like they were her own children. Dear to her heart were George Livermore, Jeffrey (Kelsey) McCracken, Donavan (Marty) Harris, Kevin (Barbara) Davenport and Bonnie (Mike) Lunkwitz. From these special relationships, she was blessed with two beautiful granddaughters, Quindara Harris and Katelynn Davenport.

A service to celebrate Marian’s life will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Lycoming Christian Church, 20 Chapel Hill Road, Linden with Pastor Donald L. Dennis officiating.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lycoming Christian Church or to Sun Home Health Hospice, 260 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg, PA 17837.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
