Linda G. Craver

Linda G. Craver, 58 of Sulky Road, Millville, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 12, 2013, as a result of an accident.

She was born January 19, 1955, in Bloomsburg, and was a daughter of Glen Brown, of Millville and Jean Moser Rishel, of Whitehall.

Linda worked for the former Boone Nursing Home and for Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a supervisor in the pharmacy department for over 30 years.

She was a member of Bloomsburg Christian Church. Linda was very active in numerous churches in her life, wherever her family attended, as she was family and community- oriented. She was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader. Linda was a compassionate person with boundless love.

Linda loved her horses and she took advantage of every opportunity to ride. She enjoyed cooking and baking and loved to entertain.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her step-father Bill Rishel and step-mother Barbara Brown. She is survived by her husband, David L. Craver. They observed their 39th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1, 2012. She also is survived by four daughters, Glenda Durham and her husband Michael, of Unityville, Rebecca Craver, of Millville, Rachel Johnson and her husband Brett, Stephanie Rarig and her husband Jack, of Mifflinville; five grandchildren, Korbie Hoogstad, Kyle and Aaron Hack, Jonah Durham and Elyce Johnson; a brother, David Brown and his fiancee’, Laurie Brooks, of Hichland N.Y.; two sisters, Dawn Eves and her husband James, and Debra Strausser and her husband Glen, all of Millville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Bloomsburg Christian Church, 107 Deussen Drive, Bloomsburg, with Pastor Eric Miller, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Summitt Cemetery, Franklin Township, Columbia County. Visitation for friends will be held Tuesday night, June 18, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home, 1024 Market St., Berwick.
