Lindsay Michelle Klinger

Lindsay Michaele Klinger, 26, of Williamsport, was caught up into the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, early Thursday morning, June 6, 2013.

Lindsay was born Oct. 2, 1986, the daughter of William R. and Michaele (Hoover) Klinger.

Lindsay attended the Christian Church of Cogan Station. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School, and volunteered with the Center for Independent Living. She enjoyed being a part of A Night Out bible study group, Teenlink, and the Superstars exercise class.

Lindsay had an inner joy that was reflected singing and praising Jesus. Lindsay had a certain sweet and tender, caring and thoughtful way about her. It’s just who she was. And she loved her dog Heidi.

Special times for Lindsay were spent visiting zoos and aquariums with Mom and Dad. Lindsay was also a classic car show enthusiast, visiting many shows. She had her own model car collection, the Mustang being her favorite. She enjoyed baseball and played in the Challenger League. Lindsay once had the honor to play baseball in the company of the President at the White House, playing as a member of the South Lawn Sluggers.

Lindsay’s eternally bright spirit and her warm heart and special kindness had a contagious influence upon all in her life.

Surviving in addition to her parents, of Williamsport, are many special aunts, uncles, cousins, caregivers and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Cody Klinger.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Church of Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road, Cogan Station, with Pastor Larry Freed leading the service. Burial will be private in Balls Mills Cemetery.
