Walter Hall Van Horn
Walter Hall Van Horn, 82, of Duboistown, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Williamsport Home.
He was born September 8, 1930, in Cogan Station, son of Walter S. and Vera Leone (Hall) Van Horn.
Walter was the husband of the former Helen I. Hornberger, who survives.
He was a 44 year member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Early in life he was a farmer and later a truck driver for Harrison Meat and Milton Transportation.
He was a member of the Bottle Run Grange #1301 and was treasurer for 25 years.
Walter is survived by his wife, Helen; three daughters, Marilee, Debbra and Tina; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
Walter’s Life Celebration service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Church 1400 Market St., Williamsport, where his family will receive friends one hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. “A Life Celebration Home” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
