Rosina Stemler

Rosina (Ruger) Stemler, 85, of Wellsboro, Pa., died on Saturday, July 20, 2013, in The Green Home,Wellsboro, PA. Born on Jan. 27, 1928, in Germany, Rosina was the daughter of Peter and Kathrina (Willhardt) Ruger. Rosina was predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Stemler on May 14, 2005.

In her early years, Rosina was employed as a mail carrier with the Post Office in Germany and later as a waitress in the United States. She was a member of the Cherry Flats Baptist Church and the Arnot Sportmens Club.

Rosina is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Ann and Robert Clevenger of Bear, Del., Caroline Angela and Joseph Kubala of Coatesville, Pa.; three brothers, Helmu, Gunter and Peter Ruger of Germany and one sister, Waltraud Mohr of Germany.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Welsh Settlement Cemetery.
