Clarence L. ‘Beamer’ Beamer
Clarence L. “Beamer” Beamer, 75, of Williamsport, passed from this world into Heaven on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
Born March 11, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of Harold and Sarah Morehart Beamer.
He worked at Foltz Buick and Fowler Motors. Beamer was a member of American Legion Post No. 1 and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Phillies and the Yankees, listening to country music, and being with his three dogs and his cat. His love was his family and being able to care for them by working hard and giving of himself to help others.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years Rosemarie (Rolley) Beamer; his eight children Clarence L. “Buddy” Beamer Jr., of Louisiana, James Mitsdarfer (Bonnie) of Dubois, Harold Beamer of Williamsport, Brad Mitsdarfer (Robyn) of Muncy, Karen Colley (Thomas) of Williamsport, Sonja Beamer (Louis) of Williamsport, Pat Mitsdarfer (Kathi) of Williamsport, and Angela Early (Kevin) of Williamsport; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four siblings William Beamer, Glenn Beamer, Doris Stevens, and Lois Welch, all of Williamsport.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren Ashley Wettlaufer and Travis Mitsdarfer, and two siblings Sarah Zellers and Clyde Beamer.
Visitation will be held 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Sanders Mortuary 821 Diamond St. Williamsport, followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Wright, pastor of Community Baptist Church, Montoursville, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his family.
