Stephanie Marie Mutchler
Stephanie Marie Mutchler, 23, of 1208 Weaver St., Montoursville, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born May 27, 1990, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Richard D. Mutchler and Christine A. (Grenoble) Boyles.
A 2008 graduate of Montoursville High School, Steph previously worked as a waitress at Haywood’s in Muncy and at Desanto’s in Hughesville and Montoursville. She currently assisted her step-father in his chip delivery business, Wise Chips/Bryden Distributing. Steph was especially fond of horses and enjoyed horseback riding. She also enjoyed camping and music festivals, as well as attending live music concerts. In her spare time, Steph could be found cuddling with her cat, Marley, or performing with her hula-hoop.
A Methodist by faith, she currently attended Hope Community Church in Loyalsock.
Surviving are her father and step-mother, Richard and Terri Mutchler of Montoursville; her mother and step-father, Christine and William Boyles of Pennsdale; two brothers, Jeremy Boyles and wife, Megan of Cicero, N.Y., and Brendan Mutchler of Montoursville; four sisters, Meghan Graham and husband, Robert of Middletown, R.I., Nicole Hawk and companion, Eric Mahosky of Muncy, Danielle Hensler of Chicago, Ill., and Ashley Klotz and husband, Keegan of Montoursville; paternal grandparents, Richard and Kathleen Mutcher of Jersey Shore; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Grenoble of Jersey Shore; step-grandparents, Graydon and Patty Yearick of Oval; two nephews, Hunter Graham and Owen Boyles; one niece, Josie Klotz; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Doyle E. Grenoble, and step-grandparents Carl and Geneva Boyles.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. A celebration of Steph’s life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at Hope Community Church, 1300 Tinsman Ave., Williamsport. Officiating will be Pastor William Covert of Hope Community Church and Rev. David Trostle, pastor of Farragut United Methodist Church. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
