Carol Ann Houser Heverly
Carol Ann Houser Heverly, 68, of Williamsport, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the Gatehouse.
She was born Jan. 16, 1945, in Williamsport, the daughter of Jarrett John and Sarah (Knapp) Houser.
Carol was the wife of James Heverly with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.
She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal church.
Carol was previously employed by Trimtex and C.A. Reed.
She enjoyed country music, food, dancing, camping and her family.
Carol loved watching Sci-Fi, CSI, westerns and scary movies.
She is survived by her husband, James; a son, Carl (Mary) Emrick, of Scranton; a daughter, Tina Emrick Trate, of Elimsport; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sally Francis, Gloria Formica, Eleanor Eisner; also several nieces and nephews.
Carol was predeceased by six brothers, Paul Connacher, Frank Connacher, Robert Connacher, Tommy Connacher, Jarrett Houser Sr. and Henry Houser Sr.
Family suggests donations be made to James Heverly to help defray the costs.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, in the Montoursville Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., “A Life Celebration Home,” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
