Brian John Finkler, 49, of Muncy, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at the Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy.

Brian John Finkler

Brian John Finkler, 49, of 131 E. Water St., Muncy, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 23, 1964, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Stewart S. and Marian (Neu) Finkler, of St. Joseph, Mich.

Brian was a 1982 graduate of Muncy High School. He worked for more than 25 years at Carey-McFall/Springs Window Fashion, Montgomery, retiring in 2010.

Brian was an outgoing person who made and kept many friends. Among his many interests he enjoyed reading, cooking, working on late-model cars, and following Pittsburgh Steelers football.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Noreen Finkler, of Hughesville, Michael and Dantra Finkler, of Noblesville, Ind. and Edward and Nicole Finkler, of W. Lafayette, Ind.; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Daniel Hanasaki, of San Jose, Calif., Christina and Joseph Conroy, of Stratford, N.J., Carolyn Finkler, of Austin, Texas, Margaret and David Dikel, of Rockville, Md. and Alexa Finkler, of Mantua, N.J.; nine nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy.

Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Resurrection and marked for the Family Promise program, or to Heifer International (www.heifer.org).
