Allison Lagana was born on May 21, 1933, in Williamsport, and was the daughter of George I. Hahn Sr. and Rosie M Packer Hahn. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Lagana on Dec. 20, 1990.
She worked as a Quality Inspector at the Litton Company, retiring in 1980, to enjoy the warmth and sunshine of Florida. As a resident of Florida, Allison earned her GED, which was a great source of pride for her. She then went on to become a licensed realtor working with Century 21 and was a member of the Millionaires Club. She enjoyed reading, crafts, decorating, and in later years spending time in her home on the lake.
Allison leaves behind two sons, Gary (Doreen) Wertman, of Muncy, Scott (Debra) Wertman, of Lexington, N.C., and her daughter, Karen (Dennis) Swimley, of Muncy, with whom she lived, along with her beloved dog Belle. There are four grandchildren, Jennifer Neidig, Haley Steele, Michael Hilner and Eric Wertman. There are five great-grandchildren.
Allison is also survived by two sisters, Fae Randall, of Williamsport and Betty Stone, of Elmira, N.Y. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Hahn and George Hahn Jr. and two sisters, Verna Balliet and Doris Patt.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A memorial service is planned for later in the spring at the family’s convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to Lycoming Co. SPCA.
