Stephen E. Kreamer, 56, of Cogan Station, died unexpectedly, Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center after being stricken at work.
Born May 16, 1957, in Williamsport, he was the son of Grier and Barbara (Heaton) Kreamer.
Steve was an electrician at Pennsylvania College of Technology for the last four years. Prior to working at Penn College he owned his own electrical business, Kreamer Electrical Service, for 25 years.
Steve was the vice president of Hepburn Lycoming Little League for 25 years and was a member of the 1969 Newberry Little League team who went to the World Series. He also was a volunteer electrician at the Little League World Series. He attended St. John’s- Newberry United Methodist Church. He loved his job at Penn College and watching Penn State football games. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
In addition to his mother Barbara, of Williamsport, he is survived by wife, Kathy (Campbell) Kreamer, with whom he would have celebrated 37 years of marriage with on July 16; two children, Matthew Kreamer, of Cogan Station, and Michelle (Marc) Hess, of Cogan Station; brother, Timothy M. Kreamer, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Mason and Maslyn Hess; and two dogs, Jagger and Riley.
He was preceded in death by his father Grier Kreamer on Jan. 5, 2014, and an infant sister, Cynthia Kreamer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., with The Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
