Boyd W. McKinley

Boyd W. McKinley, 74, of 241 Main St., South Williamsport, passed away March 22, 2014, at the Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport. He was born in Lock Haven, Jan. 15, 1940, to the late Wilfred C. and Regina Whitman McKinley. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Heck McKinley, who survives at home.

Boyd was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked most of his life for the former Bell Telephone retiring in 2000 as a coin collector. He was a life member of the Duboistown Fire Company and enjoyed camping and NASCAR.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Paul (Linda) McKinley, of DuBoistown and Allen (Lisa) McKinley, of Hughesville and two daughters, Nancy Schilling, of Troy and Lynn (Howard) Kiess, of Jersey Shore. Also surviving is a special stepchild, Kevin (Shannon) Rossman, of Schuykill Haven; a brother, Harold (Lois) McKinley, of Montoursville; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Boyd W. McKinley will be held on Wednesday March 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Officiating will be Chaplin Rebecca A. Logan. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to The Gatehouse Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport.
