Fred A. Foulkrod

Fred A. Foulkrod, 72, long time Williamsport area resident, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at The Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Foulkrod had been a trust officer at Susquehanna Trust and Investment Company and the former Williamsport National Bank.

He was a graduate of Lycoming College. He had been a member of the Williamsport Jaycees, a member of the Board of the Harry Plankenhorn Foundation, board member of North Central Sight Services, board member of the Divine Providence Hospital Foundation and a board member of the building committee of the Valley View Nursing Center.

He was a former member of the Salt Run Hunting Club, member of the former Ross Club, and a member of the former Williamsport Wheel Club.

He was an avid golfer and had been a member of various golf clubs for more than 50 years. He was an avid Penn State football fan and was a football enthusist. He enjoyed boating on the Susquehanna River, camping with his family, scuba diving, and travel. Fred ejoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed attending yard sales. He enjoyed spending the winters at Myrtle Beach in his retirement.

Born January 18, 1942, at Williamsport, he was the son of the late William A. and Elizabeth Ewing Foulkrod.

He and his wife, the former Margaret Audet, were united in marriage on July 28, 1961.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy, ay home, his three daughters, Kathleen A. (Kevin) deMauret, of Brick, N.J., Christine A. (William) Reilly, of Lititz and Karen A. (Michael) Schiavone, of Needham, Mass.; his grandson, Kyle Reilly, of Lititz; his sister, Nancy (Ken) Foucart, of Williamsport; his nephew, James Foucart, of Williamsport; his niece, Cynthia (Brendan) Ryan, of Lock Haven; and great-nephew, Jonathan Heim.

In addition to his late parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, John A. Foulkrod.

Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, May 31, 2014, with the Rev. John K. Manno, officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Avenue, South Williamsport, PA 17702.

The family will provide the flowers and respectfully suggests that contributions in memory of Mr. Fred A. Foulkrod may be made, if so desired, to the John A. Foulkrod Scholarship Trust, c/o Susquehanna Trust & Investments, 48 Orchard Drive, Shamokin Dam, PA 17876.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home.
