Anna Tripp, 81, life-long resident of Liberty, Pa., died June 18, 2014, at Sycamore Manor in Montoursville.
Anna Jean was born in Blossburg on October 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Herbert F. and Josephine (Wasiski) Werline.
She married Ray Tripp on July 1, 1950, at the Liberty Salem Church. They shared 25 years together before his passing on Aug. 17, 1975.
In addition to caring for family and home, Anna was employed by Wundies in Liberty and Wellsboro until retiring.
She enjoyed going antiquing and crocheting, especially doilies.
Surviving are four children; Kenneth (Diane) Tripp, of Buttonwood, Randy (Janet) Tripp, of Millerton, Pamela Tripp (Harry Ahlum), of Boca Raton, Fla., and Jeffrey (Laura) Tripp, of Liberty; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Margaret Roskowski, of Williamsport, and Stanley B. Werline, of Crane, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Greta Lamonski and Frances Vough.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 23, at Zwicharowski Funeral Home 314 Granger St., Blossburg. Rev. Lon Williams will officiate the funeral service at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Welsh Cemetery.
