James J. Grieco

James J. Grieco, 55, of Cogan Station, died peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014.

Jamie was born in Williamsport on July 14, 1959, the son of Alfred F. and Sally Delaney Grieco.

He was a graduate of the former Bishop Neumann High School, now St. John Neumann Regional Academy, and had an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from the former W.A.C.C., now Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Jamie was lead supervisor of Maintenance at High Steel from 1999.

He was a member of the Keystone League and of the Sons of Italy Lodge 2786.

Surviving in addition to his mother, of Williamsport, are two daughters, Angela M. Grieco and Hannah J. Grieco, of Williamsport; and two brothers, Mark A. Grieco, of Philadelphia and Dr. William M. (Leigh) Grieco, of Washington Crossing. He was predeceased by his father, Alred F. Grieco.

The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, with Msgr. Stephen D. McGough officiating, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Montoursville.

The family will gratefully accept floral tributes and also suggests memorial donations may be made to The Childhood Leukemia Foundation, 807 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723 or a charity of your choice.
