Lori L. Stout
Lori Lynne Stout, 55, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, in the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 8, 1960, in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Jay F. and L. Aldene (LaForme) Peck. Lori was the wife of Thomas R. Stout with whom she celebrated a 31st wedding anniversary on June 30, 2016.
She was a 1979 graduate of Montgomery High School and a 2011 graduate of the Newport Business Institute where she received an associate degree in business administration. Lori was employed for 27 years as an assembler by Spring Window Fashions. She then interned and later worked for C.R.C. Health at Watsontown as a file clerk and later through temp agencies.
Lori was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery. She enjoyed gardening and fall canning, especially her spaghetti sauce, walking and four wheel riding in the woods. She cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and her pet golden retriever, Carly.
In addition to her husband, Lori is survived by two sons, Ryan J. and wife Danielle Stout and Scott T. Stout, both of Montgomery. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Holly and Jakob Stout. In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Peck.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, 43 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery, with her brother-in-law, Dr. Larry Stout, officiating. The family will provide the flowers.
