Mark Adam Harner

Mark Adam Harner, 57, a resident of Pennsdale, lost his long courageous battle with cancer on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Born on Friday, Feb. 13, 1959, he was the son of the late Harry “Dick” Harner and Mildred “Tootie” Harner, of Pennsdale.

He married the love of his life, Brenda Bieber Harner, in August of 1976. Together they shared 40 years of love and had two children; daughter, Jessica Harner Laubaugh and son, Adam Harner, both of Muncy. He adored his granddaughter, Abby Laubaugh, who was always by his side wherever he went. Surviving in addition to his wife, mother and children, are his brother, Ken Harner, of Whittier, Calif. and sisters, Melinda Harner Orr and Ann Harner, both of Muncy.

He was a long time employee of the Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships.

You would always find Mark working on cars in his garage, fishing on his bass boat or telling stories with his fishing buddies.

The family will have a celebration of Mark’s life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 658 Village Road, Pennsdale, followed by refreshments. Memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to Susquehanna Health Foundation in care of The Gatehouse or Cancer Center, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are being handled by the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main St., Muncy.
