Nancy Kathryn Probst

Nancy Kathryn (Bausinger) Probst, 80, of Williamsport died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at her residence.

Born October 8, 1936, in Waterbury, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy F. “Bud” & Kathryn (Wagner) Bausinger

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Norman S. Probst.

Nancy retired from Stroehmann Bakeries after 25 years of service. She served as Past President of the Montoursville Lioness Club, the Loyalsock Lions Club, VFW Post 7863 Ladies Auxiliary and VFW District 15. Nancy also volunteered for the Old Lycoming Little League.

Nancy was a member of Christian Church at Cogan Station. She enjoyed making cakes, candies and various crafts.

Surviving are her children, Donna K. Schreiber of Acworth, Ga., David L. Probst of Elimsport, Daniel E. Probst of Watsontown, Dora J. (Steven) Klees of Loyalsock and Dana A. (Michael) Strunk of Cogan Station; grandchildren, Lee Schreiber, Jessica (Sal) Marsico, Holly (Chris) Barnes, Rachel Probst, Maria (Shawn) Rymsza, Erica (Michael) Neville, Rebecca (Sam) Keziah, Teresa (Ken) Plimpton, Joseph Probst, Gregory (Amanda) Probst, Thomas (Kylie) Probst, Michel (Shelby) Klees, Marc (Elizabeth) Klees, Melisa Klees, Mathew Klees, Benjamin Strunk and Crystal Strunk; great grandchildren, LeeAnn, Dominic, Nash, Alexandria, CJ, Kathryn, Graysen, Logan, Grentree, Landon, Rhyder, Everestt, Makayla, Adalyn,  great great grandchildren; Cameron and Sophia; her brothers, Robert L. (Evie) Bausinger of Milton, Jan R. (Betty) Bausinger of Beech Creek and her brother-in-law, Edmund (Georgia) Probst and all their children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by twin baby daughters; daughter, Darlene Miller and son-in-law, Warren “Fred” Schreiber

A memorial service to honor the life of Nancy will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at The Christian Church at Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road, Cogan Station. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Following the service there will be a dinner served at the church.
