Besides her husband and children, she is survived by her mother, Kari Chilton, of Eminence, Mo.; grandparents, Jim and Vada Chilton, of Eminence, Mo.; brother, Cody Chilton, of Eminence, Mo.; and many other loving family members and friends throughout the country.

She attended Eminence High School, graduating in 2003.

She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo.

She was employed at Fish Commercial Group in Williamsport, where she worked as a commercial industrial specialist, recently receiving the company’s President’s Achievement Award.

Megan enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She was passionate about giving to and helping others who were in need, believing that she could change the world. She previously served on the board of the First Community Foundation Partnership and The American Cancer Society, where she chaired the annual Destiny Ball.

Megan embodied a fabulous lifestyle and personality, and not just because she was a bold fashionista or could sass her way out of any situation. She was beautiful both inside and out and was never afraid to stand out from the crowd. Her passion and drive left others in admiration. She was a loyal and dedicated wife, friend, daughter, granddaughter, sister and most of all, mother.

Megan will always be remembered for her incredible love of family and community.

She possessed an unstoppable spirit that infected everyone who knew her and benefited countless others who never met her. Words cannot begin to describe the brilliant light that she shone upon this world.

We promise to keep seizing every day in your honor and living life to the fullest with you close beside us.
