Mildred A. Peace
Mildred A. Peace, 88, of Cogan Station, passed away with family by her side Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at the Williamsport Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald A. “Jud” Peace on Feb. 9, 2001, with whom she celebrated 47 years of marriage with.
Born April 22, 1928 at home in Cogan Station, she was a daughter of the late George and Laura (Burr) Bower.
Mildred graduated from Hepburnville High and was a homemaker. She was a member of Balls Mills United Methodist Church and loved playing the game Dominos.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Edgar and Harold Bower; a sister, Verna Lehman; and a very special niece, Connie Wheeland.
Mildred is survived by several great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mildred will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with Pastor Chris E. Pfleegor, officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
