In 1989 Rich became the sole proprietor of the business and lead two more generations in the family business. He remained somewhat active in the business until his death. His love of antiques and the great amount of knowledge he had about them was known to everyone. He was fortunate to make many lifelong friends through his business and he appreciated his hard working and loyal employees. He loved to share stories of his travels and experiences.

He donated his time and talents to raise money for many local charities including the American Cancer Society, Ducks Unlimited, The Less Fortunate Boys Benefit of the Williamsport Wheel Club and The Penn College Foundation.
He was a man who put his family’s needs first and taught his family to help those less fortunate. His greatest joy was giving to others.
