Elva M. Frick

Elva M. Frick, 73, of Montoursville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center. Surviving is her husband of 52 years, William C. Frick.

Born August 10, 1944, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Charles E. and Martha J. (Wurster) Green.

Elva was a graduate of Montgomery High School. She worked many years for Sarah Coventry Jewelry Company as a manager.

She was a member of Community Baptist Church since 2007.

A mother leaves us with a legacy of faith, hope, and love and a resolve to be an encouragement to others as she was to us. She was known for her wonderfully generous upbeat and loving personality. Always gracious and giving, she is and will remain in the hearts of her family, which to her were the most important aspect of her life. Her vivacious personality, determination in all things, and the attitude with which she lived her life was an inspiration to anyone fortunate enough to have crossed her path.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, William C. Frick, of Norman, Okla. and J. Edward Frick (Kerri), of Mount Joy; five grandchildren, Ian, Avery, Christian, Brielle, and Jameson Frick; and a sister, Linda L. Woodling, of Williamsport.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Neal Edward Green.

A brief funeral service to honor the life of Elva will be held 6 p.m. Monday, September 25 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. James F. Larkin and the Rev. Gregory P. Sanford co-officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
