Rosella M. Cook
Rosella M. Cook, 92, of Wellsboro, passed away at The Green Home, Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017. She was the widow of George N. Cook, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Rosella was born Sept. 10, 1925, in Wellsboro to the late Russell and Mary (Harding) Copp.
An avid reader, Rosella also enjoyed music, walking, travelling, movies, discussing politics and cooking. She liked cooking enough that she worked as a cook at the Carleton Nursing Home. She loved her family, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Animals were also a special part of her life, she was a true animal lover.
Rosella is survived by her three children, William Cook (Regina Johnson), of San Diego Calif., Edward Cook (Melissa), of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., and Carol Osgood (Edmund), of Wellsboro; four grandchildren, Laura Cook, of Wellsboro, Eric Cook, of Manteo, N.C., Jordan Cook, of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Jamisen Cook, of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; a great-grandchild, Asher Cook; and a sister, Joan (William) Carson, of Wellsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Margaret Jean Rice (Donald).
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home. Rosella’s memorial tribute will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be interred in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
